central location, balcony overlooking street, reliable parking arrangement

Street noise at peak hours!!! The convoluted access route from street to room could use some simplification!!! Small room for improvement in soundproofing options for a quieter experience!!!

The room was clean and absolutely fantastic with a lovely bathroom, great views and lovely view, could leave my car nearby. Coffee/tea making facilities and glassware were a nice touch.

Units with balcony. The hotel location was best possible very close to all the tourist spots. The food was great, had a lot of options.

Extremely loud at night made it hard to sleep soundly. Bathroom cleanliness could use better roach control. The confusing access from street to room involved several steps and a convoluted route.

Very pleasant staff and incredible location in central Palermo, everything was spotless. The rooms were absolutely fantastic and impressive with extra window. The breakfast meal was great with cheese and also ham.

Staying at porta maqueda bed & breakfast was fantastic! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the theater. Our king room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast spread was excellent with many local options. The staff was always helpful, we had a great stay.

great location but some noise issues

The view from my balcony towards the Teatro Massimo was fine! The room offered plenty of space and a very comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a highlight, with local cheeses and freshly baked pastries, made mornings a delight. The city view was captivating.

The soundproofing, while effective, could still use improvement in managing street noise during peak hours.

Entrance confusion.

Charming atmosphere with clean and modern accommodations. The staff was highly attentive, offering delicious coffee in the mornings. While the vibrant street noise was occasionally disruptive, the location was ideal for exploring local attractions. The parking arrangement was straightforward, which was a relief in the busy city.

The decor was fine, with super high ceilings. Loved the variety at breakfast, and the staff were beyond helpful. They had secure parking nearby, a total lifesaver.

The nearby touristy area felt overwhelming at times due to the aggressive touts, and occasionally the noise from the street could be bothersome. A satisfying stay with a good balance of comfort and charm.
